| I guess endless Dashboard Confessional doesn't help with that. He's just so good. On a related side note, I've been listening to an increasing amount of music that moves from depressing to happy to mellow very quickly, mostly Yo La Tengo and The Decemberists. I had never really heard Yo La Tengo before their concert but I had a few Decemberists tracks that I chose to ignore and not appreciate. I have stopped ignoring them. I really enjoy the storytelling that they very eloquently accomplish is their lyrics. Seriously. Everytime I listen to them I wonder why I can't write something so beautiful. Some how they even make the line "with your cock in her kisser" work and be wonderful. Now that is talent. What other band can do that without being raunchy? Not many, I can tell you that much. |
